Eco-warrior, part 2

Taking the city by storm! I am on a mission to beautify my city through a little act I like to call "renegade gardening." Here's how it works:

I scope out a patch of unkempt land, like this grassy patch behind my house:

Then, I sprinkle wild flower seeds onto the ground and hope for the best!

After my weekend renegade mission to beautify my own block, I set-out spread blossoms across the city. I hit a couple of wild, weed- and garbage-covered hills of West Baltimore while I waited for the train this morning......Where next?

  2. You rebel you! You plant those wildflowers! That is a great idea and being a constructive renegade is still being a renegade! like a little green Robin Hood! (Men in tights preferably!)

  3. hmmm....like the opposite of graffiti. had some folks in london doing a similar thing not too long ago. travelling in groups they would descend on an unsightly plot then set about weeding, clearing litter and planting various flowers. I think needed permission from the local government though.

  5. I can't claim the "renegade gardener" term as my own....I told a friend about my plans to spread seed across the city and she came up with the term.
